The Cut-In-Half Cabin is one of the most unique accommodations in Northwestern Ontario. Originally located over 100 km away, this historic log cabin was literally cut in half, transported to Grand Spruce Lodge on Armstrong Lake near Kenora, and carefully rebuilt into a beautiful lakeside retreat.
Fully restored while preserving its rustic character, the cabin comfortably sleeps up to 10 guests and features a fully equipped kitchen, covered veranda, and access to all Grand Spruce Lodge amenities, including a sandy beach, paddle boards, canoes, kayak, swimming area, and inflatable water park.

- The Waterfront Lakehouse – Our largest and most spacious cabin, the Waterfront Lakehouse comfortably sleeps up to 14 guests. Built in the 1970s, it offers breathtaking lake views, direct beach access, a large open living space, and everything needed for unforgettable family reunions, group retreats, or waterfront vacations.
- The Coon Cage – A beautifully restored 1940s log cabin full of rustic charm and character. Sleeping up to 10 guests, it's located just steps from the shared beach and amenities, making it an excellent choice for families with kids or groups looking to enjoy all Grand Spruce Lodge has to offer.
- The Last Resort – Tucked away for extra privacy, this fully restored 1940s cabin sleeps up to 5 guests and is perfect for couples or small families seeking a peaceful Northern Ontario escape. Enjoy a cozy atmosphere while remaining just a short walk from the shared waterfront amenities.
- The Cut-in-Half Cabin – One of Grand Spruce Lodge's most unique accommodations, this 1940s cabin was literally cut in half and transported over 100 km before being carefully rebuilt on the shores of Armstrong Lake.
